Ecolint Symposiums take place throughout the year. They begin with a presentation by the speaker of the day and are followed by an apéritif. The sociable moment we spend together discussing pedagogy is as important as the talk itself and contributes to Ecolint’s tradition of open exchange and spirit of lifelong learning.

This presentation will focus on the interaction of postures between students and teachers. A posture is a configuration of verbal and non-verbal gestures that students and teachers adopt and share to communicate and undertake tasks. Both teachers and students have a number of postures, mostly unconscious. Their configurations can be very efficient or, on the contrary, quite damaging. Opening up the discussion about postures to accompany students is an important training to have.
