10 October 2017 from 9:00 to 17:00
Centre des arts, La Grande Boissière
From 2 to 10 October 2017, Inkörper Company (GE) will be hosted for a creative residency at the Centre des arts for its "Sacre" project, which will be created at Geneva's Halle Nord in February 2018. On October 10, from 9am to 5pm, the public is invited to come and discover a phase of this work, free of access and with entrance and exit at will.
"Sacre" is both a performance and visual installation.
With this project, Aurélien Dougé - performer - and Perrine Cado - scenographer - hope to create awareness about the movements of nature and the possible interconnections between man and his environment. Their work focuses on scientific, sociological and environmental upheavals and is based on the interaction between facts and fiction, art and science, knowledge and perception, space and time, in order to physically engage the public in an immersive experience and lasting practice.
Sacre is based on the principle of an everchanging space. The transformative process involves both the performer in action and the audience, who is invited to circulate in this visual and acoustic landscape. With Sacre, Aurélien Dougé and Perrine Cado offer a sensory experience which can be previewed in Geneva at the Centre des arts.
With the support of the Ville de Genève, the fonds mécénat SIG, the Ernst Göhner foundation, the Nestlé foundation for Contemporary Art, and Geneva's Halle Nord.
