Tuesdays, 15:15-16:00 / Dance Studio
Open to 4-6 year olds
Open to Primary students, this course will teach the different positions, attitudes and movements of this style of dance - while having fun in the process. Students will develop their posture, flexibility, coordination and music listening skills.
- Learn basic posture.
- Know how to perform basic classical movements.
- Learn how to follow a simple choreography.
- Know how to coordinate mouvements to music.
Tuesdays, 16:00-17:00 / Dance Studio
Open to 7-8 year olds
Lessons are tailored to each participant's capacities. They will learn the positions and rules of classical dance. Students will improve their flexibility, posture and balance, while developing their strength, coordination and memorisation.
- Learn the rules of classical dance.
- Develop balance and adjust posture.
- Memorise choreographies and learn to reproduce steps and movements.
- Learn extra classical dance techniques.
Tuesdays, 17:00-18:00 / Dance Studio
Open to 9-12 year olds
The basics of classical dance having been acquired, choregraphies become more refined and require more complex techniques. Students will work on classical dance techniques, which will be further developed so as to allow the young dancers to create their own choreography.
- Consolidate basic techniques.
- Acquire new classical techniques.
- Develop sensitivity and finesse of mouvement.
- Create a yearly thematic project.

Teacher Marina Ritz
While passing her Baccalureat, Marina Ritz discovered her passion for dance and decided to follow the pre-professional training at Dance Area in Geneva. She then perfected her talents at the International Centre of Rosella Hightower, at the Ballet Förderzentrum in Nuremberg, and at Pineapple Dance Studios of London. Over the years, she has worked with numerous choreographers such as Bruce Taylor at the Paris Opera. In 2009, she entered La Juste Debout School of Paris and began her solo career. More recently, Marina has directed several projects, including Project 8XX in Paris. In Switzerland, she performed solo in the transmedia project "E-Motion", produced by Cuban dancer-photographer Ismael Lorenzo.
