Cartooning Level 1 (beginner)

Wednesdays, 13:30-15:00 / Room R07
Open to 9-10 year olds
 
This course will give students tools to learn how to draw figures that move and to summarise an idea in a drawing. Journalism, politics, breaking news, many messages are given through cartooning all around the world. 
 
OBJECTIVES
  • Basics of illustration.
  • Drawing figures that move.
  • Summarising an idea in a drawing.
  • Understanding the freedom to communicate through images.
 

Cartooning Level 2 (advanced)

Wednesdays, 15:00-16:30 / Room R07
Open to 11 to 12 year olds
 
This course will give students tools to learn how to draw figures that move and to summarise an idea in a drawing. Journalism, politics, breaking news, many messages are given through cartooning all around the world. 
 
OBJECTIVES
  • Constructing characters.
  • Summarising an idea in a drawing and giving a message.
  • Discovering other professional cartoonists from around the world.
  • Understanding the freedom to communicate through images.
