Ecolint Symposiums take place throughout the year. They begin with a presentation by the speaker of the day and are followed by an apéritif. The sociable moment we spend together discussing pedagogy is as important as the talk itself and contributes to Ecolint’s tradition of open exchange and spirit of lifelong learning.

The aim of this symposium will be to understand, through concrete examples:

  • that differences are a part of school
  • that there are several concepts linked with differences and that some, quite widespread in both Belgium and France, call for practices that increase differences - these practices should be avoided
  • that interesting and promising practices do not necessarily bear the label of "differentiated pedagogy"

We will focus on the importance of basing learning on a common culture built in the classroom.
