From 9 April to 16 May 2019

Vernissage: 9 April 2019, 17:00-20:30, in the presence of the artists

Exhibition: From 9 April to 16 May, Monday to Friday, 9:00-18:00 (closed from 15 to 27 April for Spring Break)

The first edition of the art biennale brings together works by students from Ecolint and seven schools from across the world that offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme. The objective of this exhibition is to encourage exchanges, enable students to meet and build greater dynamics between schools.
Selected students will present their work created during their 12th year of study. As part of the exhibition, they will also participate in workshops given by invited professionals who will help them develop skills related to the academic components of the visual arts programme of the IB.
The IB visual arts programme encourages students to questions their own cultural expectations and limitations. It is a stimulating curriculum in which students develop analytical, problem-solving and divergent thinking skills, while working on technical competences and increasing self-confidence as art creators.
A great diversity of media and techniques will be represented, the exhibited works testifying to the students’ freedom of expression and autonomy.
