"Theatre must act as a beacon of intelligence" - Romain Rolland
Fayga is a funny and disturbing show that offers a look at how a totalitarian dictatorship fits into the heart of human relationships.
It is an compilation of text extracts from the works of Hanoch Levin, Karl Valentin, as well as from Charlie Chaplin's masterpiece, The Great Dictator.
The title is inspired by a character of a sketch by Hanoch Levin.
For his 1st creation for LGB, the director Benjamin Kraatz has chosen a powerful theme and is working with high school students to develop this production with rigour and professionalism.
The result, Fayga, is an original work, inviting reflection about dictatorships of the past and present.
This show was developed with and for the Club of Theatre in French of the Campus of La Grande-Boissière.
Laughs, thrills and emotions guaranteed.
