As aliens land on Earth to condemn humans for their poor treatment of the planet, a struggle ensues leading the invaders to threaten to take over control. Meanwhile, three alien children are attending a human school. Will they fare better than the adults? How will the events in their classroom influence the destiny of the planet? Will humanity seize their chance to do right instead of wrong?
With students aged 12-13 both on and off stage, the pedagogical aim of this musical is to inspire love of music, theatre and the performing arts as well as foster team work, work ethic, collaboration and respect. At a pivotal age when children discover who they are and form ever closer bonds with their peers, this play also seeks to raise their awareness of environmental and political issues through acting, singing and dancing, in an effort to develop their sense of responsibility for each other and the wider world.
